What do we really mean by going vegan?

You might think that being vegan is like being vegetarian, but that's not exactly true. If you decide to become a vegan your not just giving up meat, your also giving up animals products such as milk or eggs, and (Look down below at the list) are also giving up some other stuff too!

You might want to start out as a vegetarian then being a vegan right away, so you can experience not eating any meat. If you'd like to go further into helping animals and are ready to give up ALL of your animals products, edible or not, then you can go vegan. If not, then it's still great to stay as a vegetarian, you are helping so many animals either way.

If your not ready to give up your meat at all, then we suggest that you can try to eat less meats and other animals products, add some more salads and other vegetarian recipes (Go to our recipe section for some awesome and delicious recipes!).  nobody expects you to go vegan in a day,  it took me a while too, but I did it!

In the end its really worth it, to you, and the animals!

What you will be giving up:

  • Meat (Of course)

  • Dairy Products

  • Eggs (and egg products, obviously)

  • Animal Fur Items/Clothing (Animal rugs and scarfs are some things)

  • Animal tested products (make-up, soap, skin products, etc.)
